A Ukrainian armored assault has punched a hole right through Russian lines near the town of Nova Kakhovka, east of Kherson.

Leveraging numerical superiority, Ukraine’s armored fist easily broke through the Russian troops’ positions.

The attack aims to dislodge the enemy troops from the area. Once this is achieved, the axis of attack of the armored column is likely to swing back westwards towards the city of Kherson itself while simultaneously other units move in from Kherson’s west side, effectively encircling the city. Any remaining Russian unit inside the city will either be forced to surrender or be destroyed.
