The Department for Health has confirmed that 1 person has died from coronavirus today and just 269 more cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
In an announcement made this evening the Department confirmed that there are currently 243,215 confirmed cases in the Republic of Ireland and a total 4,826 deaths.
The number of patients in ICU stands at 49.
Today’s numbers are the lowest since mid December.

一方で日本、防止措置を発出したものの感染者数値は悪化の一途、特に大阪府は医療崩壊しています。通常の医療を受ける患者に影響が出ていることと、コロナ感染しても適切・必要な治療が受けられず、命の選別を強いられる状況に陥っています（既に3日間は）。これは政治の判断ミスでしょう。大阪府の吉村知事の責任が重いと考えます。また、知事一人の判断に委ねているかのようにマスコミは伝えていますが、実態はどうなのでしょうか？ 議会や専門家グループは機能しているのでしょうか？ この民主主義の時代に於いて、どうも首長の独断が流行っているような傾向を感じます。トランプもそうでしたが、一強の安倍政権がそのような傾向を示していましたし、今の都府県の各首長（知事）もそれぞれが独断（？）でことを決めているかのように見えます。これは危険な兆候です。民主主義が崩れていませんか？
いずれにしても、地方自治体と国の責任の擦り合いもやめていただき、国が定める範囲を明確にしつつ、自治体の権限で速やかな対策実施が出来る体制で臨んでいただきたいものです。今は、手続きに１週間はかかってしまっていて、迅速な対処とは全く言えない状況に見えています。つまり後手後手なのです。だから、現状のような悲惨な状態を招いているのです。

日本も、もっと自転車利用が安全・便利に感じられるような街作りをして欲しいものです。思えば、今回のCOVID19を通して、日本の政治行政レベルは、様々な視点で先進諸国の一つとは言い難いと感じている次第です。
戦後の復興には努力をして来たのでしょうが、経済経済（金儲け・金儲け）と叫んで、大切なものを忘れて来たのではないでしょうか。
グローバル社会の到来は間違いない方向なのでしょうが、食糧自給率が４０％の日本は無防備過ぎます。安ければ不安全でも輸入に頼るのですか。しかし、そのことを大半の国民は知らないのです。同様に、安全神話に包まれていた原発。国民が知らないまままに５０基以上の稼働になっていました。そして、福島の大災害を目の当たりにしながらも、未だに原発をベースロード電源などと位置付ける政権には辟易しています。そして、コロナ。ワクチン政策や治療薬等の開発・承認体制など、イライラすることが多過ぎませんか？
地球温暖化への対策や、持続可能な社会への取り組みなど、エネルギー政策や身近な自転車利用についても・・・、先進国とはとても言えません、日本は。
総じて、政治家はバカが多いと感じています。口だけ達者、自らの非は認めようとしない。強弁するばかり。あの愛知県知事リコールに関する署名偽造事件の全容が見えつつありますが、当初の強弁を繰り返していたあの首謀者の一人は、もう反駁のしようがないレベルに追い詰められています。こんなレベルが国政に出ようと考えていた御仁なのです。嗚呼、実に情けない政治家や首長（知事・市長等）が多い・・・。少なくとも権威主義や権力志向の政治家は辞めさせるべきです。

In what can only be described as truly shocking, disturbing and tragic news, an Australian woman has lost her life after taking the covid vaccine.
It’s understood that the 48-yr-old woman took the AstraZeneca vaccine on April 8th and quickly developed a blood clot as a result of the vaccine.
Australian authorities believe that there is a direct connection between the vaccine and the woman’s death.
The woman’s blood clot is the third person to get a blood clot after getting the vaccine with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) claiming that the other two people are recovering from their blood clots.
One social media user said: “It’s yet just another example of problems presented from these rushed out vaccines. Who knows what will happen in the future from taking these?”

何度も同じようなコメントを綴っていますが、今年の五輪開催は無理でしょう。国内報道を見ていると、日本国内での感染状況だけを配慮してイイとか悪いとか言っているようで、諸外国の感染状況を全く無視した判断のようにしか聴こえて来ません。昨日のインドの数値は驚愕の20万人・日ですよ！ 何、コレ！ また、EU各国の数値も万オーダーの高い数値を示しているのです。唯一（？）、UKが2,000〜3,000人・日レベルでワクチン効果が感じられる程度です。
何れにしても、日本もワクチン接種を急ぎたいものです。しかし、アストラゼネカやジョンソン＆ジョンソンが血栓問題でブレーキがかかっていることが気がかりです。

The country temporarily halted the vaccinations on March 11 as a precautionary measure.
The decision means the scheduled conclusion of Denmark's vaccination scheme will be in early August rather than July 25, as health authorities had planned.

Thousands of people flock to Bispebjerg Cemetery in Copenhagen every spring to capture its beautiful avenue of blossoming cherry trees.
And while the lovely pink leaves are beginning to sprout now, the city has ushered in some restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We still have a gathering limit and you must keep your distance. The restrictions are necessary in order to open the alley, but it means you can cosy up for a picnic and there is a risk of queuing to get in,” Jakob Hjuler Tamsmark, a Copenhagen Municipality spokesperson, told TV2 Lorry.

Avoid the crowds
The specific measures being taken by the city include cordoning off certain paths and making others one-way.
There will also be a queue system in place and visitors are urged to adhere to a walk-click-walk concept – so taking a couple of quick shots and then moving on.
The municipality will send a few guides to the cemetery to keep an eye on proceedings during the blossoming period.
Should the public refuse to adhere to the guidelines, the cherry tree alley risks being closed.
The attraction is open every day from 07:00-22:00 and the city urges visitors to try to plan to see the blossom early or late in the day to avoid queues.
Entrance to the cherry trees is only available from Frederiksborgvej.

ところで日本でのCOVID19感染状況等ですが、本日の速報によると兵庫県は過去最多の507人を記録したそうです。“うちわ会食“を持ち出している場合ではありません。兵庫県知事の良識を疑ってしまいます。またこれを周辺が止められなかった構図は、あのアベノマスクを彷彿させるもので、この国の非民主的・権威主義的な一面を見せられたようで悪寒すら覚えます。これらの様々な言動等を見ていると、政権の不祥事も各自治体首長たちの無策・愚策・不作為等々、政治家の多くの判断力に失望するとともに、本省含む行政機関の稚拙さにも愕然とする次第です、全てとは言いませんが・・・。
