Ukraine is offering a $100k reward for information leading to the capture of the ‘Butcher of Slovyansk’.

The Butcher, whose real name is Igor Girkin, is a retired FSB colonel known to have been part of the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014. He’s also suspected of involvement in the downing of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 (MH17) over the Donbas region on 17 July 2014, which killed 298 people.

Ukrainian special services have reason to believe that this terrorist is now involved in operations in Ukraine.
