British health authorities have confirmed that daily coronavirus figures will no longer be published from Easter.
According to the British Government, the move is part of ‘living with Covid.’
Most countries in Europe are now lifting restrictions as the coronavirus is now no more serious than a common cold.

UKでの体制は、このようになるようです。一方で日本、３回目のワクチン接種は遅れに遅れていますし、私には接種券すら未だに届いておりません。自治体によって大きく違いが出ているようです。このワクチン接種の進展度合と治療薬の開発・普及が進めば、文中にあるように “ living with Covid “ が可能になるのでしょう。従って、現状の日本の姿から言えば、UKと同じような考えには至らないと思います。（日本国内でのワクチン開発・生産体制の構築。さらには治療薬や検査試薬等の開発生産を可能にする仕組み構築が不可欠です。民間企業では開発・研究資金に無理があるので、国家として税金を投入すべきでしょう。）
