In what’s being described online as very serious and a disaster, today’s case numbers appear to be as bad as we ever had.
The number of people in ICU is now said to be alarming NHPET into an avenue that no one wants to go down, possible further restrictions in the not too distant future.
They continue to say that no new restrictions are on the table but many feel that they’re not far off even though the vast majority are vaxxed.
Ireland’s CMO Dr Tony Holohan has said that the situation is now unsustainable and has urged those who aren’t vaxxed to get their vaccination.
Many believe that this sounds ominous as to what’s to come in the upcoming weeks towards Christmas and the New Year however.
Dr Tony Holohan is now said to be extremely concerned as case numbers seem to be skyrocketing again.
Irish health authorities have reported 4,181 new coronavirus infections over the past 24h.
Health authorities have also confirmed that there currently are 668 with severe coronavirus disease across Irish hospitals. It is unclear how many of these were fully vaccinated.
It’s understood that 125 people are in ICU around the country.

日本の低い数値は事実ではありますが、ハメを外すとクラスター発生となります。旭川市の実例が示していますので、マスクを外しての会食や、ましてや、カラオケなどは厳禁と考えるのが賢人でしょう。レストラン系は、もっと屋外・戸外での飲食が出来る設備に切り替えるべきで、コストを抑えて実現する方法は考えれば出来るでしょう（ケースバイケース）。
