In what’s being described online as very serious and a disaster, today’s case numbers appear to be as bad as we ever had, even at the height of the problem in Januart 2021.
The number of people in ICU is now said to be alarming NHPET into an avenue that no one wants to go down, possible further restrictions in the not too distant future.
They continue to say that no new restrictions are on the table but many feel that they’re not far off even though the vast majority are vaxxed.
Ireland’s CMO Dr Tony Holohan has said that the situation is now unsustainable and has urged those who aren’t vaxxed to get their vaccination.
Many believe that this sounds ominous as to what’s to come in the upcoming weeks towards Christmas and the New Year however.
Dr Tony Holohan is now said to be extremely concerned as case numbers seem to be skyrocketing again.
Irish health authorities have reported 5,634 new coronavirus infections over the past 24h.
Health authorities have also confirmed that there currently are 684 with severe coronavirus disease across Irish hospitals. It is unclear how many of these were fully vaccinated but this is a jump of 16 since yesterday.
It’s understood that 126 people are in ICU around the country.

アイルランドのワクチン接種率は非常に高いレベルなのにこの状況。シロウトなりの推定ですが、ブレークスルー感染と新たな変異株による感染が10％以上とも報じられていますので、この二つの要因で感染が拡がっているのではないでしょうか。
対策としては、感染防止策を現在もこの先も続けること、さらにはブースター接種でしょう。
日本も決して楽観視してはならないのです。アチコチでクラスターらしきものが発生しています。マスクを外して集うなかれ！
