Irish health authorities are reporting just over 6,700 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.

Official figures say that there have been 6,735 new infections confirmed in that period of time.

Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan is now embarked on a crusade to decimate the country’s retail sector, after having done likewise with hospitality. He has personally asked people to ‘avoid the shops.’

一方で日本、各地でオミクロン株の感染者が確認されています。しかも、感染経路が不明と言う“市中感染“で広がっているのです。よほど強力な規制や自粛行動をしない限りは拡大は止められないでしょう。

さらに、帰国した日本人が検疫で陽性と判定される事例が昨日は51人も出ています。これで同じ機体で帰国した全ての人を濃厚接触者として隔離することは膨大な人数に及ぶことであり、実質的に不可能な処置方法になっているのでしょう。逆に、搭乗する段階で陰性確認をしているのでしょうか？　そうした仕組みもどうなっているのか、マスコミの報道に求めたいと思います。（政治家は口先ばかり・・・）
