Barely a day after reluctantly granting miserly increases in pension and welfare entitlements that only cause derision and solve nothing, the Irish Government is now saying that some lockdown restrictions might remain after October 22.

It now appears that the ‘successful’ vaccination program is not so in reality, as daily infection numbers have been creeping up in recent weeks.

The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) is due to reconvene early next week to decide what to do after the rapidly worsening situation.

かなりの批判的な文言の後に、１０月２２日以降も何らかの規制を残すべきだとの視点から検討が加えられることを伝えています。

恐らく、ワクチン接種が進んだ結果、マスク等の解除が進んでしまってブレークスルー感染が止まらないと言ったところでしょう。

つまり、これを対岸の火事としないで、日本でも同様になり得ると解するべきで、マスコミや行政は強く警鐘を発するべきです。何度も言いますが１１歳未満の小さな子供達はワクチンがまだ接種出来ない無防備な状態にあるのです。

マスクなしでの会食（マスクを外すことが問題なのです）や、スーパー等でのマスクなし買い物など論外です。罹患したとしてもワクチン接種済みの人は軽症で済むかも知れませんが、家庭内にいる小さな子供達にとっては危ないことを知るべきです。
