Tributes pour in for 2-yr-old Laois girl who tragically lost her life in a paddling pool accident

A tragic accident at a paddling pool in County Laois has saw a little 2-yr-old girl lose her life.

Tributes have been paid to Hannah Kealy, of Cremorgan, Timahoe, Co. Laois, after she was playing in the pool when the accident happened near her home on Friday night.

Emergency services responded to the scene and Hannah was taken by ambulance to Temple Street University Children’s Hospital in Dublin, where medical teams rushed to keep her alive.

Tragically Hannah died on Sunday surrounded by her parents Marie and Denis and her sister Ella.

The close-knit community of Timahoe and Stradbally was devastated by her death and the circumstances surrounding it with hundreds paying their respects to the grieving family at this terribly sad time.

The little girl’s funeral arrangements have not been made public at this time.
