A new helpline has been setup to advise Ukrainians on their rights in Ireland including free medical cards and social welfare

The new service will be open 5 days a week in an office in the Irish refugee council in Dublin.
It’s understood that the majority of people working in the centre are Ukrainians who are eager to help out the thousands of people that are expected to flood into Ireland over the coming weeks.
They’ll be informed about their rights, including getting social welfare and accommodation, alongside getting free medical cards.

日本は地理的な条件もあって、EU各国と同じようなフォローは出来ませんが、日本独自の援助も可能なのではないでしょうか。日本は、唯一の被爆国・敗戦国として、真の平和立国としての声を発するべきです。USや主要国に追従するかのような対応ではなく、そうした日本独自の経験を強みにして、声高に平和を訴え世界をリードするのであれば、先の大戦で亡くなった方々に対しても礼を尽くすことになるかと思います。それを考えると、今の自民党政権のやっていることはまるで金魚の糞ではありませんか。ゼレンスキーも違う援助を期待しているのではないでしょうか・・・。
