Russia has attacked Ukraine with a missiles led attack on many of its cities during the night.
The world is waking up to what could be the start of a very long, drawn out international conflict.
Dmitru Kuleba announced that President Putin has invaded Ukraine.
Peaceful cities are under strikes, he said, with reported explosions in Kiev.
Meanwhile President Putin’s representatives have said that he has no plans to take over the entire Ukrainian country but that he would seek its “de-Nazification” and “demilitarization”. He noted that any country that would intervene would face the consequences.
