Irish health authorities have reported the detection of the Mu coronavirus variant in Ireland.
The spread of this particular variant, first detected in Colombia, is currently being monitored by the World Health Organization (WHO) as there are concerns that Mu might be resistant to current vaccines.
If this is confirmed, it would mean that the entire vaccination program around the world would have been for nothing.

政府やマスコミは、正しいと言うより周知した方が望ましい情報は速やかに開示するようにすべきです。“大したことない“と誤った安心感を植え付けた結果が現在の姿です。2020年1月・2月頃の安倍PMや加藤厚労相などの不用意な発言が日本国内での感染爆発を誘引し、さらには、今日までも“大したことない“イメージを引きずってしまっているのです。無責任の極みです。ラムダ株に関しても、危険が予測されていたにも関わらず、五輪を強行開催し、全く問題なかったかのように振る舞い、現実には医療崩壊が続いていて多くの犠牲者を出し続けているのです。従って、このμ変異株に関しては、前車の轍を踏んではなりません。自公政権では誰がやっても無理です、口先ばかりですから。
