Irish health authorities have announced just over 17,700 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.

Official figures say that there have been 17,701 new infections confirmed in that period of time.

There currently are 717 people with severe coronavirus disease across Irish hospitals today. It is unclear how many of these are ‘fully’ vaccinated.
