The UK has reported just short of 70,000 new coronavirus cases over the last 24h, the highest daily figure since the start of the pandemic.

Official figures say that there were 78,610 new infections confirmed in that period of time.

Health authorities have also reported 4,671 additional cases of the Omicron variant.

これはUKの状況を伝えるものですが、フランスもドイツも同様に異常に高い数値となっています。推測ですが、かなりの割合でオミクロン株が含まれていることでしょう。

そしてさらに注意すべきは、感染爆発の速度が異常に速いことで、これはエアロゾル感染レベルではなくて、空気感染を意味しているのではないかと思わせます。今後の発表に注目したいとは思いますが、それ以前に自らの判断で防御策を強化・継続すべきでしょう。

また、日本政府はブースター接種（３回目接種）を前倒しすべきです、８ヶ月間待つとか言っていないで・・・。
