Anyone want to get a plane to England today? It’s beginning to look very appealing considering the fact that the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is lifting basically everything in England from today.
There will be no mandatory rule for mask wearing. People who want to wear masks can still wear them but there’s absolutely no insistence on them.
There’s no more social distancing required either. Up to today, people had to stay 1 metre apart but that’s out the window today too.
Nightclubs will reopen with no requirement for vaccine certs, neither restaurants or pubs will require this either.

UK全土に対する規制解除ではなく、イングランドエリアに対するものですが、ロンドンも含まれていますので、それはそれで時期尚早とも見えます。但し、新規感染者数の発生エリアはスコットランド付近が重心になっていますので、イングランドは・・・との思考も働くのかも知れません。まア、それにしてもいささかムリがあるように感じます。

ムリと言えば、五輪に関する作曲家の一人が、過去にイジメ（虐待）の事実を雑誌等で認めていた人物であることが報道され、結果、辞任するに至ったと伝えられています。当該人物（５２歳）の学生時代の蛮行に関することではありますが、そもそも人格として信頼たるものは1ミリも感じられません。そしてこうした人物がどのような経緯で選考されたのかも疑問を持ってしまいます。伝えられるところによると、当該人物の家系には著名な人物が多そうです。しかし、それが選考された事由ではないことを信じたいと思います。それにしても、過去の蛮行は、それに対する罪を償っているのであれば問われることもないのですが、何も行なっていないのであれば断じて許されません。そして、組織委の対応も一貫性が無く非難されて然るべしの感です。
