Irish health authorities have reported just over 12,100 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.

Official figures say that there have been 12,138 new infections confirmed in that period of time.

Fifty-two new Covid-19-related deaths have also been reported. It’s not clear how many of these individuals were ‘fully’ vaccinated.

これとは別に、UKでは再び10万人を超える新規感染者が出ています。

また日本では、昨日、過去最多の41,485人の新規感染者を記録しています。そして蔓延防止措置はやっと明日（21日）から13都県で実施されます。実に遅すぎます！　蔓延防止の目的からすれば、１週間前には発令されていなければなりません。加えて、関西圏では大阪府の新規感染6,101人（19日）にも拘らず規制に動いていません。これでは感染拡大を助長しているに等しいのです。このままでは関西圏はオーバーシュートして医療崩壊（既に保健所はパンク）に陥ります。このような首長で国民（府民）が不幸です。
