The UK has reported just over 49,000 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 49,139 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
Health authorities have also announced 179 new Covid-19-related deaths.

UKでの新規感染者数は、再び5万人に迫る勢いです。早く規制強化を打ち出すべきと思います。このままウィルスの飛散や増殖を許し続けると、“変異“の機会が増えることにもなるからです。一定の経済活動を再開することは容認出来ますが、条件としてマスク等の感染防止策は必須です。こうした点を理解して規制を緩めるべきでしょう。
そしてこれは、日本についても言えることです。
